House System

In January 2026, we launched our new House System. The purpose of our House System is to foster authentic relationships between all members of our learning community to create an environment where all feel connected, safe, seen and valued. Through our House System, we aim to:

• Generate a feeling of belonging among pupils and staff

• Increase pupil achievement: academically, socially and emotionally

• Increase intrinsic motivation

• Increase pupil and family engagement

• Develop pupil efficacy in leadership

• Develop school culture through unique traditions.

To reflect the ethos of our school, each house is named after one of the Gospel Values we promote every day:

• Love
• Peace
• Truth
• Justice
• Hope

Throughout the week, children earn house points for demonstrating our values, following our school rules, showing effort in their learning and contributing positively to school life. Each Friday, we gather for our Celebration Assembly, where we recognise the children’s hard work and achievements. During this assembly:

• VIP children are selected to enjoy lunch at the VIP table
•  the weekly house points totals are shared
• excitement builds as each house moves closer to the half-term reward.
• At the end of each half-term, the house with the highest number of points receives a special
  reward.
